Dr Lunnon-Wood has 19 years of experience of working with children, adults. families and staff teams in a variety of healthcare and military settings. Most recently she has been in post as Interim Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist for the Child and Family Mental Health Service based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Between 2002-2015, Dr Lunnon-Wood worked at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London jointly leading the Cardiac, Respiratory and Critical Care Psychosocial Service, with responsibility for the service design, delivery and psychological care of children, families and staff.

Having grown up and trained in Aberdeenshire and Moray, Dr Lunnon-Wood knows the area well. Her career began at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital in 1996 and upon completion of training and qualification as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr Lunnon-Wood worked at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin with the Adult Clinical Psychology Service, the Older Adult Service and the Rowan Centre Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. During her career she has also previously supported military personnel and their families as a locum Consultant Psychologist with the Department of Community Mental Health.
